Since its inception in 2009, the Discovery Johannesburg Primary Schools Soccer Programme has been a dynamic platform fostering community development and promoting healthier lifestyles from a young age. This initiative organizes a range of soccer tournaments for primary and high schools in Johannesburg, such as the Discovery Festival (Boys and Girls), Discovery Knock-Out Cup, JVW Girls High School League, and Alexandra Discovery School's League.
Established in 2010, Discovery Soccer Park is a state of the art five-a-side football facility at the Wanderers Club in Johannesburg, renowned as the largest 5-a-side centres in South Africa and boasting FIFA approved synthetic grass pitches. Embodying Discovery's commitment to accessible active lifestyles, the park is open to the public seven days a week and offers both individual and group youth coaching sessions.
Discovery is the proud broadcast sponsor of the English Premier League on SuperSport. As part of the broadcast sponsorship, Discovery developed and hosts the #IWasThere campaign, enabling clients the opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime trip to watch these events live, VIP-style.
