We pay your day-to-day medical expenses from your Medical Savings Account.
Immediate access to an annual Medical Savings Account
While you pay contributions monthly, you have immediate access to the full annual Medical Savings Account for the year. The Medical Savings Account contribution is a fixed portion (20%) of your medical scheme contribution. Please refer to your contribution table for the Medical Savings Account limits per income category. You can also view your latest Medical Savings Account balance when you log in.
Note: Your day-to-day benefits are subject to funds available in your MSA. We only pay medical expenses from providers who are registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) and have valid practice numbers. Providers must submit claims using the appropriate codes.
